Our dedication to providing high-quality data is backed up by evidence from a recent independent email study, which found Intelligent Data Group to be the UK’s leading email database supplier.

The official independent study was carried out by industry specialists, Campaign Commander and aimed to analyse the data from five leading email suppliers in the UK, including Intelligent Data Group.

The data was provided at random by list owners or independent bureaus. To ensure impartiality, the same creative and subject line were used. The company also used an independent third party broadcaster and ensured files were masked to ensure results were unbiased and uninfluenced.

After analysing the data, Campaign Commander found Independent Data Group to offer the highest quality email databases and hold the position as the current market leaders.

Survey results

Here are a few key findings from the survey:

  • Intelligent Data Group’s email opening rates were four times higher than our leading competitors. This means that people are much more likely to open and read IDG emails than those from other UK agencies.
  • Intelligent Data Group’s bounce rates were five times lower than any other suppliers. Bounce rate measures how long it takes for users to click off a page. This shows that users are more engaged with our emails than any of our competitors.
  • Intelligent Data Group’s hard bounce rate was just 2%. This is 1% lower than the rest of our competitors’ hard bounce rates.
  • Intelligent Data Group’s soft bounce rate was half that of competitors’. Again, this shows that users are far more engaged with our emails than our average competitors’.
